Shipping Insurance Coverage
Our shipping insurance covers scenarios where a package is lost, damaged, or stolen while in transit. Here are situations that shipping insurance covers:
1. Lost Packages
- The package is lost in transit by the carrier.
- The package is never delivered to the recipient.
2. Damaged Goods
- The package arrives with visible external damage (crushed, torn, or water-damaged box). The contents inside the package are damaged due to mishandling.
3. Theft (Stolen Packages)
- The package is stolen before delivery (e.g., from a warehouse or during transit).
4. Misdelivery / Wrong Address Issues
- The package is sent to the wrong address due to a carrier error.
- The package is marked "undeliverable" and is never returned.
What is NOT Covered?
- Shipping delays.
- "Porch piracy" or when tracking shows "delivered," but the customer never received it.
- Customs confiscation (international shipments held or seized by customs).
- Fraudulent claims or suspicious loss claims.
