I wanted to get a dark brown shell cordovan strap in shorter length than the OEM strap that came with my watch. Nomos has a 4-month wait time. So here I am. The quality of the strap I received is on par with the OEM strap. I am very happy with it.

You can’t got wrong with cordovan in Color 8! It’s formal, it’s casual depending on your outfit. It’s brown, it’s red, it’s eggplant depending on the light. The strap quality is excellent. The buckle is a nice surprise - it’s brushed somewhere between matte and polished, and the name/logo is unobtrusive. I like a little extra tail - This is 120/80mm on a 18.5-19.0cm wrist, holding down a silver Omega Seamaster 166.010 ( 34mm ).
You can't just buy a 17mm strap anywhere. This one is beautiful though.

Absolutely love this band. It's pure magic, period. I picked up an immaculate 1956 gold-capped Omega "Pie Pan" Constellation 2852-1SC, and I wanted to get a nice leather strap... This thing matches the watch perfectly. It literally feels like it was made for it. This thing also feels like it is bulletproof and will last for years... I couldn't be happier, seriously. Worth. Every. Penny. Nicest leather band I have to date.

It works well. It looks good. It is exactly what ai wanted and what I ordered. The only issue is some friction lead time being two months which is not communicated on the website.

I decided to order a strap from Veblenist due to my normal vendor not offering a shell cordovan #8 strap in padded form. The quality, color and workmanship are all exceptional. Delivery time was very good and overall I think that this is a new option for future purchases. Needless to say that I am a satisfied (+) customer.
I wanted a simple, but elegant watchband for my Patek Calatrava. And I needed a custom size, tapering from the 20mm lug spacing to fit the original late 1940s clasp, with a 14mm width. The Veblenist cordovan strap perfectly met the need, and the customization option for no extra charge made it a no-brainer. The finished strap is simple and beautiful--well-executed. In addition, I wanted the strap shipped to an alternate address, and reached out to customer support, who responded quickly and was able to accommodate without any issues. Overall a great online experience.
First time buying from Veblenist and I have to say I’m very impressed by the workmanship and the quality of the material. No.8 is an interesting colour, it appears like a dark brown during the day but a hint of purple/burgundy under ambient lights. Absolutely love it.
Strap is high quality and looks nice but the color is much lighter than I expected. I applied some Obenauf's leather oil to darken the color. It did not include spring bars, which is disappointing for a $100 strap.
