How to Change a Watch Buckle

Step 1. Use a small tool to push in the springbar (the metal spring inside that is securing the buckle).

Step 2. Pull the buckle away as you compress the springbar.

Step 3. Remove the springbar. Then remove the buckle tongue or prong.

Step 4. Assemble the new buckle by reversing the steps above. Test the new buckle to ensure it is fastened securely.
