Great watch band with a luxury feel. I was happy to be able to customize a longer length to fit my wrist. I will certainly be a return customer.
The strap is really nice quality but it shipped slower than advertised and without spring bars. Time from order to shipping is stated 6-14 business days it took 20 business days to ship. I reached out after 16 days because I had not received any updates. I was told it would ship within the next 2 business days but it did not ship for 4. When the strap arrived the package did not include spring bars. I already had spring bars and I can wait a little bit longer but with so many options for straps at this price point I will not be ordering from here again.
Hey there, This was one of my go-to brands, until I got this strap. I left a one star review. Right before I left a five star review for two Lupo straps that are really fantastic. This strap, however, will totally disappoint, unless you were wanting a synthetic strap for your watch that sorta looked like leather. The entire strap is black. Every where. There is no hint of brown to give you the warm fuzzies that this once came from a cow. It flexes like rubber, it feels like rubber. It even looks like rubber. What the heck? This will be the last strap I buy here. There are a lot of great strap makers out there. I thought a solid American company out of Chicago was really cool. This is garbage. It is four stars only to get by their filter. They will say, "we have no filter." Hah, do not believe. My five star rating was posted in seconds. My one star rating has crashed into the sun. This, if it does get posted, will not last for long. Hope this helps a few of you. - Gary McGee
I usually love their straps. They are well made, soft, subtle. Actually, this strap was no different. It was supposed to be Calf Skin. What I got was some kind of rubber. It was definitely not leather. It was black, but no where, anywhere, on this strap was there any hint of brown in the underlining, in the unsealed cut edges are all black. The underside is all black and is not suede like at all, it is rubbery. The beveled cutouts for the spring-bars... all black. Not a hint of brown. I have a synthetic strap, when I ordered a very pliable CALF SKIN. what the hell!?!?!? Very disappointed with what I thought was my go-to strap company.

Veblenist offers a wide range of material and design choices so that your watch band will be exactly what you want, and the band I received is flawless. It wasn't cheap, but I certainly got what I wanted and what I paid for. The next time I need a watch band, I'll know where to get it.

Very high quality, slim fitting. Great for formal look. But it might be too thin for some, in that case try the extra padding option. But if you want a belt that looks thin, slim, smooth and black then this is the one.
