Great horse hide watch band that fits the eighties Rolex Datejust perfectly. Size was 20/16. Ordered 6/25/26. Arrived 7/30/26. Website states orders shipped with 6-14 business days, so took longer than expected.

I was looking for a high quality leather watch strap that would fit my 5.9 inch wrist (I went with 10.5/6.5 length), very glad to have chose this Veblenist strap. The leather is thick, feels high quality, without being too firm. The finish and shine of the leather is great too. I customized it to fit a titanium pin buckle I have, and added the customization option for even 2.5 mm thickness, which I like for the added heft. I would recommend the black shell cordovan strap.
The black cordovan on this Murph watch is so much better than the strap it came with. I love the feel of it. This is my third cordovan for various watches in various colors. My new go to.

These straps are great, and their quality is unsurpassed. The best part is that you can customize them so much. If you get a Deployant Buckle from your manufacturer, you can tailor the strap to the buckle. You'll need to get the buckle first, then order the strap. The colors are rich and deep. Worth the money. Tip: pay attention if you get Deployant Buckle to the thickness of the strap. Currently, I am on my third strap. Great straps.
Very disappointing. Less shiny in person than on-line. Padding looks like a cancerous growth. I found better (and cheaper) straps through Etsy. Too bad I can’t return this, and no one will buy it from me either.
Store owner replied: Thank you for your feedback! We categorize this as a shiny finish. Due to the light reflection, the padding will look more pronounced on shiny leather. Fantastic strap, aesthetics are amazing when paired with a vintage timepiece. Fit feels great, well worth the price for what you pay. No need for breaking in, wore pretty well right out of the box.
This was a custom order where I requested extra thickness for the leather and specific pin hole placement. The quality of the Cordovan leather is fantastic and the construction quality as well. Veblenist was accommodating on the custom specifications and communication was great. Would recommend Veblenist for any custom order strap.
I’m very pleased with the quality of the strap. I would’ve loved to get spring bars included with it, but that’s a minor gripe. The strap is exactly what I hoped to get.

I like these straps. Did not come with springbars.
It’s a nice band but it tapers from the pins to the buckle and, after now seeing it on my wrist, I would prefer it not taper - giving it a more robust, sporty look. The tapered band looks more like a dress watch band.

I've purchased 8 Veblenist straps, all well-made and worthy of a premium brand. This lined black shell matte cordovan works well on a gold Rolex Day-Date, keeping it authoritative, but removing the in-your-face status signaling of the gold bracelet. Not that VEBLENIST sells a lined an an unlined version. The lined is more structured and formal, while the unlined gives a more relaxed, unstructured vibe. Make sure the version your ordering is right for your watch. If you are in doubt, just ask ChatGPT. Seriously.

My experience with shell Cordova straps was the straps that came with a Nomos Glashutte watch. So I was expecting this shell Cordova straps I ordered to have similar look and feel, and quality to the factory strap from Nomos. But it is a little disappointing in comparison.
