Wow. I recently picked up a vintage Omega De Ville to fill the dress watch sized hole in my collection and I immediately knew that it required a band of appropriate elegance. However, with a lug width of 14mm, off the shelf options were… minimal at best. After researching the usual options for custom bands and developing a design concept, I decided on the unlined Color No. 8 Shell Cordovan and reached out to customer service to make sure it was feasible and to confirm how the order would need to be placed for everything to go through. Michelle was super helpful with refining the design to work with the oddball OEM buckle I was going to use and recommending strap lengths so the watch would sit correctly. After ~7 weeks, it finally arrived; and it is simply the most comfortable watch band I have ever worn. Soft, supple, buttery, absolutely zero breaking in required, and the color compliments the blue dial perfectly. Just splendid. I’ll be back for another.

I can’t stop buying straps from Veblemist! I’m systematically upgrading my watch collection with these straps instead of buying more watches. This one isn’t my best watch but might be my new favorite strap. The unlined cordovan is unbelievably comfortable to wear. I can hardly feel it on my wrist. And I think it works well with the silver dial.
Excellent quality nicely crafted strap at a reasonable price. Made in the USA! Very nice presentation upon receiving as well. Shipping was spot on. The Shell Cordovan No.8 blends nicely with the champagne dial on my Stainless 68 Air King. Highly recommended company!

within a few days the paint on the edge of the strap started wearing off, and after a few weeks it was a gummy sticky mess. the areas of the strap at the ends that were glued came unglued after about a month. the floating keeper was also very loose, so it would not stay where it needed to be and frequently came off of the strap entirely.
The strap quality is superb. Loved the customization options. Great customer service!

This strap almost looks black. I think in natural lighting that it will look like a dark dark cordovan, but it's so dark that it looks too close to black. I don't think I'd have purchased this one had I seen it in real life. It's still a nice strap, just that I really couldn't tell what color it was from the pictures. I'd like it if it was a little lighter cordovan color.
I have bought three straps so far. I like that you can customize the straps to your heart's content. The quality is superb, and the customization makes them an excellent value for the money.
Gorgeous piece of leather…as with all of their work at Veblenist. However; my only issue was the strap [order] was designated to have Quick Release spring bars…the final product did not.
